I've already read this. It's absolutely stupid what our damn government is trying to do to us. They're screwing thousands of artists over. Most of us don't have the ability to pay for copyrights on all our stuff, not even our more precious things.

"I'm kidnapping you."
"It's not kidnapping if I go willingly. then it's just consensual."
".... WHAT!?"
GIVE ME THE SHORT VERSION. ;;

weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Apparently there's fine print that prevents it from legalizing art theft, but I doubt a thief is going to read it since most of them are retards to begin with.

But don't worry too much, while our government might be idiotic enough to come up with this bill, someone in there is smart enough to not let it pass. It was defeated in 2005 and several times before that.

It would only benefit money-making companies which is why it hasn't gone through. Not enough benefit to the actual public.
its not actually going to happen

Er... HorusGoddess proved it was fake the other day. ^_^'''

Read the comments. They're interesting :> Says that the guy who made the article is wrong in many ways, with a 'correct' explanation towards the Orphan Works plan.
